Maria's FIRST EVER POST got me thinking. We do need to support Brunei artists. So here's my contribution. Not Famous, apparently famous in Brunei, but I've never heard of them before I found this vid. Just goes to show. I need to say: "OMG, I SAW THE BASSIST AT THE AIRPORT" Not to mention I think I saw Wu Zhun there too. Brunei's 2nd biggest celebrity (Paula's the first). I'm not a big squealy fan-girl of his or anything, just saying that I saw him. Just because he's famous, we shouldn't all get over excited that he's from Brunei. Wow, Paula's more famous anyway. GIRL-POWER.
Back to my main blogging reason, I don't think this band is half-bad. So GO BRUNEI BANDS!
We were talking about corporal punishment in History today, and Sarah and I discovered that at Bryanna's old school, they used to get the PADDLE. This is the USA. Oklahoma I think. I thought this only went on in those old-fashioned Asian schools. But the US? That was a revelation. Apparently there were different sized paddles as well! Ugh, I don't think I'd like to go there.
