That may sound odd, but read Twilight, New Moon & Eclipse, and you'll be saying the same thing. A teenage romance novel with a bite? Bring it on.
Thank god it was written by a woman. The central character is...a guy. An incredibly hot guy. Though he's freezing cold. Being a vampire. And, Oh-My-God, isn't he perfect. Sweet, kind, funny. Remember the chain e-mail, "Your Perfect Guy"? He's the answer to EVERYGIRL'S dream. Except that he's a vampire.
And the Girl? She's absolutely average. To make all us average girls feel better, obviously. But I swear, they're the best literary couple in ages. Apart from Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione of course. but still.
New Moon made me cry SO MUCH. It's the second biggest tear-jerker I've ever read. (First is the books by Dave Pelzer.) I'll leave you to read the books and find out why. But I can tell you I absolutely bawled. I was sobbing into a tissue box.
And they might make a movie! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

He was in Hannibal Rising too. See? Vampire. Cannibal. He could make the character transition easily. But the voice. I've heard he speaks fluent English, but the accent. But I never imagined Edward with perfect American accent. It'll be a bit odd then. Perfect. :)
Henry Cavill's not too bad either. :) Though he might be a bit too old. (Gaspard's just 23, *squeal*)
Hmm, Bella. Isabella Marie Swan. I can't seem to find the PERFECT one. Danielle Panabaker and Emily Browning have been suggested. But...no. Danielle maybe, if she dyed her hair. But that would make the movie seem, Disney-ish. Like Sky High/Yours, Mine & Ours. Emily Browning's alright, but Bella's supposed to be slender. Her face is longer than Emily's. Ah well, they'll find someone.
In the mean time, more Gaspard Ulliel!
