OH-MY-GOSH. I GOT 3 HONEST-TO-GOD 50-A*'S!
EVEN FOR BIOLOGY! BIOLOGY, PEOPLE!
I seriously can't believe it! So I'll start the story from the beginning.
We had to go for this icky Economics trip to the Gadong Fish market today. You know the really rank one that stinks like something's been dead for a year? Yeah, that one. On the way there me and Jo did a bit of cam-whoring. And Isaac sat there listening to my iPod. And I'm glad to say that he found a song to download: Not The Sun by Brand New. He seemed genuinely shocked at my music taste. "OMG, NURUL LISTENS TO SYSTEM OF A DOWN?!" Hahah, I don't see why people get so shocked by my iPod. Reminded me of the time Rachel played He's a Pirate on piano and Isaac looked like he was gonna cry! "Sniff, it's so beautiful!" HAHAHA. We ate in McDonald's and Isaac and Mathew went to KFC, and they were LATE. Mrs. Isaccs got sooo pissed.
Then we got to the fish market. Cue scary music. It was HORRID. There were scales on the floor, and they vendors STARED like they'd never seen people in uniform before. Kendall's face started going red and she was retching, so we hurried upstairs to the vegetable section so she wouldn't puke. Everything went quite well, Kendall learnt some Malay and we met this nice old lady who had this long conversation with Zaim about something being very spicy. :D I was walking around a bit looking for some fruit, and this guy in wellies seemed to be discreetly following me. So I walked around a bit more purposefully, and he was STILL following. I eventually stopped and looked at some fruits, and he stood behind me looking over my shoulder at my page! I felt like saying "Excuse me? I'm trying to work here."
Then we went back downstairs, and the nightmare began. We found James, Sarah and Joanne and started back to the bus. The vendors started wolf-whistling etc. Then Sarah stopped. And screamed. And hid behind her paper. So we stopped, and screamed. THE VENDORS WENT WILD. They started shouting and laughing and it was honestly the most embarassing moments of my life. It was so damn loud even the vegetable people could hear it. The whole market was in uproar. We rushed out with our faces covered. We were cussing at the top of our lungs the whole way to the bus. A rat had actually crossed Sarah's path. A BALD one.
When we got back to school, we remembered that we needed to pick up our exam results. When we found out where they had them, I ran up the stairs. I was practically shaking as the lady flicked through the papers so calmly, and then she gave me the sheet. It had 3 50's on it. My brain took like 10 seconds to process it all. Then I had a spazz attack and skipped out of the room. I didn't know which way to go and I was turning around, wanting to get out before I screamed, and Dr. Clarkson was like "Hey, calm down, you can go out either way you know." So I ran down the stairs on the left, past Mr. Price. and when I got down, I met Joanne and hugged her like crazy. Then I ran like a maniac through the corridor with my arms in the air flapping the paper around. A movie moment. Before I tripped. My knee still hurts. Then James came along and celebrated with us, much hugging and squealing and laughing and smiling. Then we got to our lockers and hung around there for a bit. Then Sarah came along with 3 50's too, and we screamed and jumped around hugging again. Then Mathew came with 3 50's and we high-fived. HAHAH. And I hugged Joanne again. :) Then Shaon came along with 3 50's and we hugged and squealed again. Same with Maria, Sara etc.
Abraham got his guitar out and Isaac played RHCP while Ira sang. It was pretty good. Then me and Bazli compared how we play Just Like Heaven, while Ira sang along, though he was singing the wrong song. HAHHAHAHA. Me and Bazli were like "Dude, wrong song" And Ira went "yeah! I know!" HAHHAA. So on the whole a very good day. I also found out I'll be going to SEAMC again, in KL this time. I hope there's that Amazing Race thing again. 'Twas fun! And I'm going with Syaz!! YAY. This time I have a friend going with me! And I don't think I'm going S'pore music trip. There're no performances, so it is a bit pointless. Though some of the concerts are good, but I'd probably sleep through the Tuba concert. xD LOVE YOU GUYS. xx.
