Nothing seems to change

Wow. The first day of school. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting the workload for GCSE's. & now that I know, I'll be happy to do Year 9 again!
I suppose I shouldn't really be complaining, my teachers are alright:

Science: Mr. Kruger, Mr. Stevenson, Mr. Sheridan
Maths: Mr. Airdrie
English: Mr. Lopez
Geo: Miss Austin
Eco.: Mrs. Isaac
History: Bourbon & Griffo.
etc.

We had our first English lesson with Mr. Lopez today, those of us who have been in his class before were all secretly hoping he would have become slightly more "normal". We must've used up all our luck because he was more insane than ever. 5 minutes in and we were already discussing how we were all victims entering hell, naked rodents dancing around the rat trap, how he killed 3 rats over the holiday & ploopy plops. He hasn't changed a bit.
Something very weird is going on in JIS, because, as far as I know, a minimum of 2 students in yr 10 (both new) are 16 years old! Which is quite scary, considering people like Joanne, Isaac, Me and Najib are still 13. I was also amazed at the amount of new people in Yr 10, probably the most in a while! My history class was half new-students.

History:
Mr. Bourbon started asking all the new students what they'd studied before coming here, all of them told their stories, and two of them were brother and sister (slightly obvious), and when they started speaking, the whole class turned around. They had American accents, and had been studying American history (of the state of Oklahoma) for a whole year! WOAHH. We've spent about a month on England at any one time at the most. But Oklahoma history for a year? How much History can a state have? Another thing that came with a class almost entirely new students, was the discovery that Sarah & I were the only "old" girls in the class! Which meant we were the loudest, while the new girls gave us looks that said: "Omg, they're so weird, I hope its not contagious."
