Hardly did anything today. Watched Transformers at 11.30am.It was alright, I suppose. It was all action: you know, bang-bang-screeeech-rush-around-WHERE-THE-HELL-IS-IT?!-don't-die!-YAY!The special effects were amazing though. I actually found myself wondering: "How do they get the robots to do that?"Then I remembered none of it was real. The story line moved quickly, but none of the relationships got a chance to develop. There was too much action. & it was hard to visualise Shia LaBeouf as the hunka-spunka hero. I went to the Mall at 6pm. Met Felicia, Fina, Anderson & Asreel. Then Amanda & Tiff arrived. Then Anderson, Amanda, Tiff & I went to Swensens for "Dinner". It took AGES for the food come, that place gets worse everytime I go. Well, we met up with everyone else at about 7pm. (All the swimming people.) & got all confused about the seating arrangements. Rachel came too, but left at some point in the movie. xDNow. The MOVIE.tsk.tsk.tsk. Where do I start? Hmm, let's say, the beginning? You zoom in from a birds-eye-view onto what looks like a hill in the countryside, with something on top. But wait, later the shot changes to a playground with an estate around it. Continuity? Dudley's bottom lip seems to hardly move at all, & at first it's wuite hard to recognise him. There's this thing on MSN, someone is asking if Daniel Radcliffe is too old to play Harry Potter. To me, he looks fine. Its just that they've cut his hair, and it makes him look so much older. & his shirts are a lot tighter than before, so you can see his "muscles". Which just makes him look older. There is such a thing as Body Make-up. Keira Knightely had a painted cleavage in Pirates of the Caribbean 2! After a while, I suddenly realised I was bored of the movie. My mind was drifting, and I was thinking about how much longer the damn movie would take. It's quite short by Harry Potter standards, but it felt much longer than the others. & also, the relationship between Harry & Sirius, wasn't really there. What I mean is, no-one's really seen it, you only realise how close they are because they hug quite a lot. It's easier to understand if you've read the books. The only setting in the whole movie that I actually visualised when I read the book, was the Hog's Head pub. It looked quite a lot like my mental image. I didn't like this movie, at all. *Except for the cute bits where you see how obvious it is that Ron & Hermione have a crush on each other. (: *2/5 stars. After the movie I just followed Maria to the arcade, & we laughed at the funny guy dancing. But our jaws hit the floor while watching this other guy dance, he was REALLY REALLY GOOD. & I mean, REALLY good. Then Maria, Anderson & I went to Coffee Bean, & I went home. :)Labels: Harry Potter 5 Order of the Phoenix
